Privacy
Playrig is made by Vivek Nigam. This page says what the website and the software collect.
What we keep
- Waitlist: the email address you enter, and the date.
- Account: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture URL and a Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password or access your Google data beyond that basic profile.
- License records: your license (products, dates, status), each activated Mac (the name you gave it and a one-way hash of its hardware id), when it last checked in, and an audit log of license changes.
What the software sends
The Playrig command line and panels contact playrig.fyi to activate, to renew the license token about once a day, and to check for and download updates. They send the token, the machine hash and the app version. They do not send your projects, footage, job scripts, results or snapshots.
Who sees it
Only the owner of Playrig. Data is stored with Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage, bot protection) and Google (sign-in). We do not sell data and do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
Cookies
One session cookie, set when you sign in, to keep you signed in. Cloudflare Turnstile may set what it needs to tell people from bots on the waitlist form.
Your choices
Ask us to delete your waitlist entry or your account and we will, except for records we must keep (for example a payment record, once payments exist). Email the address that invited you.
